1. Unwashed, unsorted plastic wastes is fed into the reactor.
  2. It is heated, melted and gasified.
  3. The syn-gas will pass through the catalytic reactor. Catalysts will help break the long hydrocarbon chains into shorter chains.
  4. The condenser will cool down the syn-gas and liquify it.
  5. Un-condensed gas will be used as auxiliary fuel for the system.
  6. The mixture of petroleum oil will collect in a buffer tank.
  7. Oil will undergo filtration processes to remove odour, colour, sulphur and other impurities.
  8. A fractional distillation tower will separate the final products by molecular weight.
  9. Heavier oil will be collected at the bottom and lighter fuel will be collected at the top of the tower.

How does it work?
